((Please read the Lantian Domain background to fully understand what is going on here. K thx ^_^ Reading the settings for the Republic and the Sith will also help with comprehension of later posts.)) With a pulse of energy that echoed throughout subspace the supergate began to activate. A ring of bright blue light formed same as before and a puddle of water poured forth into the void. The moment the ripples settled dozens of ships came forth from the newly formed ocean. Two distinct types came through. One normal, the other…far more numerous and living. These massive living ships deployed wave after wave of fighters but the massive ships themselves were destroyed in mere seconds by rivers of pure golden light that screamed out of the other group. The ocean quickly collapsed leaving behind about 21 or so ships all of which seem to have the golden light, the others…..numbered around 150 vastly our numbering them but, their numbers were plummeting quickly. The golden light tore through them as if they did not exist. Until nothing….just nothing but a very large ring where an ocean once stood and a field of debris and frozen corpses as far as the eye could see in every direction. The surviving fleet of 21 ships gathered a massive amount of energy they then used to rip a hole in space itself and, with a burst of their engines they left our space into the hole they had only seconds before created.

Kalen stared off into the void. Work was work, but patrolling empty space just in case some Republic ship wandered into Sith territory was not his idea of fun. He was a mercenary, not a.. a common Sith Trooper. He was supposed to be able to pick the most exciting jobs. His life was supposed to be one of thrill and danger. And here he was in the middle of nowhere with 14 other mercenaries who needed the credits badly enough to hire on with the Sith patrols. They hadn't seen anything in the past 3 months! And even then, it was just a trader whose ship had broken down along the Hydian way. Besides, what kind of place was Dathomir to patrol near? Of course, their sector involved more than just the immediate space around Dathomir, what's going to happen way out here in the outer rim? The only thing of interest out here was the black hole, and there's nothing exactly awe-inspiring about looking at one of those unless you're a blind suicidal maniac. "It's J-9, Kalen. This area's as empty as the Dark Lord's head... and has been for the past 50 years, most likely...." These mercs... he couldn't say he didn't like their camaraderie, but it seemed weird. They were working for the Sith, after all, who expected perfect obedience. He shouldn't criticize them, though. He acted exactly the same. It just worried him that they'd forget themselves and talk that way to their superiors. "Fine, J-9. Meet up with the others back at the rendezvous point; I'm going to scout around a bit." He cut the comlink to the sound of choking laughter. They were probably right. What more was he going to find? He was about to turn back and head in for the day when he thought he saw something out of the corner of his eye. "What the....?!?! J-squadron, meet me at my current location, asap. I'm not sure what this is..." A massive sea of blue... what was that? Energy? Plasma? Water? had spilled from a gigantic floating ring in space, but it wasn't the only thing spilling out. Several hundred starships, definitely alien in design, like nothing he'd ever seen, were appearing from inside the ring. "This is bad! Emergency transmission:" "We're reporting massive amounts of alien starships, design and affiliation unknown. They appear to be coming through some kind of ring, or gate, it seems. Wait! They're opening fire on each other! We don't have the firepower to engage! There must be 150 of them! Or more! Requesting reinforcements! What on earth? They appear to be launching streams of golden energy that are capable of ripping apart capital ships in a manner of seconds! We need reinforcements out here! A lot of them too: these things are much stronger than our ships. Patching through video:" "Alright, J-squadron, we need to keep hidden from those things, but still be able to keep an eye on them until the fleet arrives... if they do..." Not long after, however, the aliens ceased fighting. The remaining ships, 20 or so, suddenly disappeared. "What? We can't follow them like that! That was unlike any hyperspace jump I've ever seen!" "You're right, J-4" Kalen said. "We'll just have to wait here for the fleet."

Zyre walked out of the Council meeting on Corusant, watching the mass of vehicles zoom by. The Dark Council had once again met in secret, this time in one of the richest parts of the city, with Twi'lek waiters and dancers dismissed to the halls. There'd been too many windows for Zyre to like, seeing as the entire point of being a bodyguard was to cover and protect the person paying your bills. Of course there was the irony of protecting a Sith, seeing as the rumors said they could detect anything coming at them before the sender thought about shooting or driving the speeder through the window, but Zyre had her doubts. As far as she had seen, there was no such thing as a perfect defense, and she had reason to believe the Sith were no different. She was leading Darth Thanaton this time, down a long and well lit corridor that would lead to an expensive and spacious speeder that would take them to their ship. Suddenly Zyre's Heads Up Display (HUD) blipped once, showing something large, heated, and made of metal, probably the ship. Just to be sure, Zyre glanced at her rear camera. If something was amiss, Thanaton would likely notice. His expression was unreadable under his mask, but his lightsaber still hung at his side, a good indicator that everything was alright. Zyre entered the ship, and after doing a quick scan through the ship motioned for Thanaton to come aboard. "You know you don't have to do that, I am quite capable of sensing when my life is in danger" stated Thanaton tiredly. "Yes sir." Was Zyre's only response. They'd been through this before, and there was no point in discussing it, they both knew nothing would change. As they took off and headed towards the ship, Thanaton began flipping through the new 'urgent' reports he'd received. If he found anything truly urgent he himself would respond, but otherwise Zyre would end up dealing with it. As always, there was nothing important enough to be dealt with by a member of the Council, so Zyre began skimming through it. There were reports of criminal activity, and minor uprisings here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary. As her eyes fell upon on report, however, Zyre's brows furrowed. A group of bounty hunters, the slime balls that they were, had reported some sort of invasion. They claimed that a ring had appeared and 150 or so ships, alien in design, had poured out, along with possibly water or plasma, and then had began shooting at each other. The forces had been reduced to just twenty, which seemed to just disappear, with no sign of how to trace them. The mercenaries claimed that they had simply disappeared, with no lightspeed jump or anything recognizable. They Bounty Hunters were requiring assistance, a sizable fleet. Zyre frowned. She'd seen this type of thing before, mercs calling in random and unexplainable phenomena, but nothing this extensive. There were other problems too. The entire point of calling for help would be to kill the crews, steal their supplies, and make a run for it, but requesting a full fleet would mean death for the Mercs, and it might mean death even if there was proof of their claim. Zyre frowned, but then decided. If Thanaton hadn't thought it was worth it to send a fleet, or even take too much notice, Zyre certainly wasn't going to bother moving a full fleet. Instead, she decided that she would send a few of her trusted friends and four or five ships. It'd be enough to put down any attempts at betrayal, but nothing too extravagant. She uploaded the coordinates and sent them on their way, and then began looking through the rest of the madness. It appeared that the Trandoshans were attempting to buy weapons from random sources, and that would have to be put down...

Almost six hours after he had sent the message, Kalen finally got a call on his comlink. “Yes?” “It’s J-7, sir. We have incoming hyperspace contacts. They look like Sith ships, though their broadcast ID’s don’t match those of any fleet we know of.” “Very good J-7. Everyone else, head to the lookout position to meet the fleet.” The scare with the invaders had immediately instilled almost perfect respect in the mercenaries. There was none of the sarcastic backtalk that he had heard before. They had set up a lookout at the scene of the battle to watch for the incoming fleet, and they finally had spotted something. Kalen could only hope that the Sith had taken his message seriously. He had included live video feed, so there was no reason to suspect that they would not, yet Kalen feared the worst. Still, there were reports of ships coming in, so there was hope. He hopped in his StarSaber and fired up the engines. Upon leaving the orbital docking station, he could see the fleet coming out of hyperspace. The first couple ships appeared from hyperspace, and then… nothing. No great Sith Armada. No huge battle ready fleet armed to the teeth with turbo lasers and proton missiles. Only seven ships!?!? What did they think that alien fleet was? A sightseeing expedition? A voice crackled through the comlink: “Greetings J-squadron. We received your message and are here to investigate.” Kalen took a deep breath. “No offense, sir, but is the rest of the fleet coming?” “The fleet did not deem this ‘incident’ important enough to investigate. You’re lucky anyone came at all.” “What! What about the video feed?!? Did you not ‘deign to view it?’” “I am unaware of any video feed. The only report we received from you was a hastily put together attempt at diverting the Sith Fleet to relieve your boredom. Now, is there actually anything here worth our time, or should we just kill you all and get this over with?” “Yes, sir. If you’ll take direct your attention the area outside the immediate vicinity of the black hole near our current position, I’m sure you’ll see what I was worried about. While you do so I’ll send you the video feed. It must have been lost in the hyperspace transit. I’m sorry for my attitude before, sir.” Kalen hit a series of commands on his console, and the video appeared on his visor. It was there; he was sure. He didn’t know why the Sith hadn’t seen it, but hopefully it wasn’t too late for them to take action. If it wasn’t, well, he was only a mercenary after all. He didn’t care if the aliens came through and completely wiped out the Sith. With those weapons, well, he knew who he would put his money on. And unless the Sith decided to actually start taking things seriously, it sure as heck wasn’t them. He hit another command and the video file was off. He keyed in the frequency for the leader of the Sith “fleet.” “I’m sorry for the trouble, Sir, but I would like to confirm that you received the file.” “If this is some sort of trick or virus, I swear I’ll…….” The Sith officer stared at the screen. Right in front of his eyes was and indescribable phenomenon. No wonder the report had seemed garbled and fake. He couldn’t imagine how terrified the mercenaries must have been. This was true power. This was a completely unknown alien civilization with technology far surpassing that of the Sith or the Republic, invading Sith space. The measures the mercenary had called for seemed almost inadequate to fight this menace. He wasn’t sure the Sith could. Well, nothing could stand against the full force of the Sith Armada. Nothing could. Not even those overwhelmingly powerful ships. Then again, it was possible to fake anything these days using a simple computer and a holo-bed scanner. It remained to be seen if the video was telling the truth. If it was, though, Zyre was going to have a serious mess on her hands. The officer approached the black hole, keeping his distance for safety’s sake, scanning the area for any sign of the enormous battle that he had just witnessed, when a gigantic piece of charred rubble struck a glancing blow to his port side shields. “What the…..” He looked towards the area it had come from, and stopped dead, his mouth hanging wide open. He had seen the video, but he still wasn’t ready for this. The area in front of him was carpeted in black and twisted debris. Here and there he could see droplets of what was either blood or liquefied flesh. A panorama of death stretched out in front of him as far as he could see. And in the middle of the grisly scene stood a menacing obelisk, a gigantic ring floating in space, empty now, but able to summon alien fleets upon command. There was no doubt about. “Zyre, it’s it’s..” he choked out. “It’s real. All of it. It’s true. I… I… words can’t describe this. I’m sending you the video file that should have come with the report, as well as video I’m taking of this scene right now. I don’t know what you’re going to do with this, but I know that whatever it is, I’m going to have no part in it. I’ve fulfilled my end of the bargain. This is your problem now. Yours and Darth Thanatons. I can only wish you good luck.” He entered the commands to send of the files, and verified that they had arrived. He didn’t know what was going on here, but he was darn glad that those mercs had been here to see this. He only hoped that the Sith would respond in time….” Meanwhile, Kalen watched the officer. He wasn’t against a little snooping, so he listened in on the message. “It’s real……..This is your problem now…..good luck.” He smiled bitterly to himself. At least he knew that something was going to happen now, but what? Would the dark council send the fleet? Being Sith, their pride was beyond overbearing. They might not just because they had chosen not to in the first place. Then again, anyone would be stupid not to be worried about this. Even a Sith Lord. Kalen just hoped they wouldn’t involve him in it, which was extremely unlikely, seeing as he was the one who had first seen them, and he wasn’t one of their soldiers. They would have no qualms whatsoever about throwing his life away. He’d just have to wait and see how things worked out. Meanwhile, though, he was going to run a scan on nearby systems, just in case the aliens hadn’t gotten far…

"HEY JACE, WAKE UP WE GOT SOMETHING!"
"Somebody I know better be dying Z" Jace groaned as he opened a lazy eye to the screaming droid.
"It's the sith com's I've been watching" Z the droid continued, ignoring Jace's blatant lack of interest "Apparently they sent out an emergency transmission requesting for an entire fleet of sith capital ships!"
"Your point being...?"
"Aren't you being PAID to listen in on Sith communications?" Z asked
"Yup"
"So don't you think it would be a swell idea to check up on, or at least, report such an event to your employer?" Z continued.
"Probably"
"And yet, you're not going to do anything are you?"
"Yup"
"YOUR UNBELIEVABLE!" Z exclaimed "THIS is why you're broke!"
"Probably" Jace said with a shrug as he set up his communication device. "Sierra 117 reporting in, think we got something here,"
"What is it?" the voice asked him. The voice was disguised but Jace could sense some worry in it.
"Apparently the Sith's sent out an emergency transmission around these coordinates," Jace replied uploading the appropriate data to his shady employer. "Dunno what it is, but it warranted a request for a full fleet"
The voice was silent for a moment, then spoke "We need you to go their and give us as much detail as you can,"
"Not in the job description friend" Jace replied "You make me do recon against a full Sith Armada, you better be ready to pay, and it will be a lot more than what you're paying now"
"You will be compensated for your efforts," the voice said "Hurry and scout the area"
"Right..." Jace said "And for your sake I hope you're not lying" Jace said as he shut down the communicator. "Aight Z, we're moving out,"
"Are you kidding?" Z exclaimed "You wanna take on a Sith armada with this rinky-dink fighter? You don't even KNOW how to fly a ship, let alone out-maneuver trained pilots!"
"Thats why your here Z," Jace sighed "Now stop whining about it and lets go!"

((~:DISCLAIMER:~ This was created with both me and Daniel working on it at the same time. There is no godmodding here. ^_^))
A massive build up of energy can be detected by the small Sith fleet as they sit in the debris field. The very fabric of space began to twist and contort, violently rattling the fleet. With an explosion of light a large vessel about 3.5KM in length appeared before the fleet, narrowly missing one of the Sith ships as it entered normal space. The ship quickly moved between the fleet and the supergate far off in the distance and took up a defensive posture. The ship powered its main weapons and targeted all of the Sith ships. Upon the bridge of the lead ship a hologram of a male, human like, creature appeared. He stood about 5’ 8”, was wearing long tan pants what stopped at the mid-shin. His boots went up to where the pants stopped and were a darker tan color. They had several buckles on each boot. Upon his waist was a belt about 2.5” in width and on his right side what appeared to be some sort of weapon was holstered. He was also wearing a tan, what looked like leather, top with two darker brown lines going from top to bottom. With a slightly darker under shirt, long sleeved and with a pair of leather like gloves. He looked to the captain of the Sith ship, as if he knew right who to look at.
“Quisnam es vos quod quis es vos effectus hic? Nos prex ut vos licentia is tractus simul.” ((Who are you and what are you doing here? We request that you leave this space at once.)) He spoke sternly to the captain of the ship. The hologram stared intently at the captain awaiting his response.
The Sith Officer stared in surprised shock for several moments at the alien on the who had appeared in front of him.
"Computers, run linguistic analysis."A Sith walked up behind him. Trago Anarth, his longtime friend.
"Lannik, there's no need for that. I can draw the language from his mind and implant our own there." Trago closed his eyes, concentrating.
"There's something strange about him. He's not a force user, but his mind is powerful nonetheless."
He opened his eyes. "I couldn't do it. He expelled me from his mind. Start up your language program; I should be able to work with that and what I was able to get to decipher the language."
Trago walked over to the computer, and entered a series of commands. The message from the alien vessel played again, this time only the audio, and Trago resumed working with the computer. A short time later, he stood up.
"There we go, that should do it. We've deciphered their language. It's programmed into the computers. We can just talk in Basic and the computers will automatically translate for us."
Turning towards the hologram that was still standing on the bridge, he addressed the alien:
"Who I am is of no concern to you. You are in violation of the Treaty of Corsucant. This is Sith Space. You have 10 standard minutes to withdraw your ships, or be determined hostile."
“Nos es valde rumex , nos erant insciens ut is tractus eram imperium per quisquam. Vero nos must vindicatum is pro vicis res. Ego sum rumex si is turbo vos tamen nos vistus non licentia quod prex ut vos vacate simul. Is tractus est terrenus sub imperium of Lantian Domain.” ((We are very sorry, we were unaware that this space was controlled by anyone. However we must claim it for the time being. I'm sorry if this upsets you but we cannot leave and request that you vacate at once. This space is temporally under the control of the Lantian Domain.)) The Lantian captain spoke sternly to the captain of the Sith vessel before fading away.
Trago looked to the Sith officer. "How should we respond? Technically we gave them 10 minutes. It doesn't seem like they're going to withdraw."
"Send them this message: "Due to violations of the Treaty of Coruscant and hostile behavior, you will now be terminated. The Sith Empire does not tolerate such invasions of its domain."
Lannik pulled out his comlink. "All ships, open fire on alien vessel. Use evasive tactics; their strength is an unknown factor. J-squadron mercenaries, do the same. Destroy the alien vessel."
Trago turned to the communications panel. Entering in a series of commands, he began broadcasting the message on every channel that they didn't need for battle coordination. He also reached into the force, sending the message pulsing out through space. If they didn't receive the message through either of those methods, well, it didn't really matter anyways. They wouldn't be around long enough for it to make much of a difference.
With the enemy opening fire the Lantian warship launched one drone as a warning shot that screamed to the Sith vessel with amazing speeds. It swiftly moved through the shields as if there was nothing there. It punctured the hull and moved in through several corridors before detonating with a massive explosion ripping a small hole into the side of the vessel. With that shot fired the warship held its position awaiting their response. The captain of the warship looked over the message rather impressed they were able to discern their language so quickly. Maybe they were not as primitive as he had thought. Never the less if their bombardment continues then his hands are tied and he’ll have no choice but to attack back. He ordered the commutations officer to send a message. He sent it on the same frequency that they had received the first message on. The message reads as follows:
“By now you must see what our weapons of capable of. Stand down at once or we will consider it an act of war and respond in kind. This is not an idle threat.”
The explosion rocked the Imperial Cruiser. "This is bad, Lannik. We need capital ships for this. Our cruisers and fighters can't take hits like these."
"No, they can't. Fire the proton torpedoes. Set our ship on a crash course with the alien vessel. Reroute all power to the hyperdrive and energy reactors. If we're going down, we'll take that SOB with us."

Some time ago, in a galaxy far far away... Zyre stared at the screen, watching the video feeds for the third time. Darth Thanaton was with her this time, but, as a high ranking sith, his reaction was unsurprisingly neutral. His brow furrowed as he watched, but he didn't have the jaw drop that Zyre had. As it finished, Thanaton spoke, his voice only slightly hesitant.
"This must be dealt with and investigated. These... Invaders... Will likely strike again, and possibly soon, to clean up their mess. We need to get an investigation crew out there now, and a fleet too, in case these aliens find their way back. What options do we have?"
Zyre smiled to herself. Sometimes Thanaton was so predictable, so she had taken the liberty of finding what ships she could.
"We had a power scuffle in the Bilbringi system my lord, but it seems to have been resolved without much fighting, and the rebel leaders have been taken care of. It was a large fleet, mostly used for intimidation purposes, but well equipped with firepower. The locals knew too much about fighters for us to just send in a mass of decoys, so the ships are all well armed, but nothing was fired. As far as the reports go, most of the troopers were quite depressed by the lack of action. I recommend we send this fleet. It's decently well equipped for information recon, and if the visitors show up they'll think twice about attacking straight out."
Thanaton nodded, and Zyre whirled around in her chair and began processing the commands. The fleet was in good hands, and the soldiers would be looking for a fight, so if it did turn out to be a huge sham the mercs would be lucky to make out more than a few inches.
Thanaton suddenly spoke up. "Ready our fleet. I feel a pull towards this unusual occurance."
Zyre smiled, happy to be away from the rest of the sith and with some of her kind, warriors with a heart and soul for the fight.
___________________________________
General Bleth received the incoming message with a sigh of relief. The Bilbringi system had been disappointingly quiet, and his men were itching for a fight. After all, they'd been trained to be the best he could, and almost an eighth of the men were hand picked by Bleth himself. He relayed the message to the rest of his crew, and sat down in his command chair to view the videos that were being relayed in. He could already feel his command ship, an Oppressor Battlecruiser beginning to make the jump to lightspeed.
__________________________________
Bleth's Battlecruiser came out of lightspeed to a scene of horror. Eyes wide, he watched as a ship burned and fell to pieces, as if internally detonated, but soon his focus shifted to the alien warship. Massive didn't even begin to describe the size of the ship, and it looked like nothing he had seen before. Suddenly a frenzied message came through from one of the ships, a note of panic in the captain's voice.
"Sir! Meaning no disrespect, but we recommend you open fire on alien ship immediately."
Bleth hesitated for a moment, unsure of whether or not to attack an alien ship that may or may not be hostile...

Lannik stood at the bridge of his Cruiser, awaiting the final collision. "Engage hyperspace. Program no destination. Punch it straight through that alien vessel."
Suddenly, the ship's computers began displaying incoming hyperspace contacts. Trago darted over to the computers. "It's a Sith fleet! We've got reinforcements! And enough firepower to blow that alien to heck several times over."
Lannik grabbed his comlink. "Cancel previous orders! Withdraw to behind the fleet's lines." Then, addressing the incoming fleet: "Sir! Meaning no disrespect, but we recommend you open fire on alien ship immediately."
The Cruiser began to limp towards the battlecruisers and dreadnaughts, beginning to fire her turbolasers again. The alien ship didn't seem to be taking much damage from the barrage, but all shields weaken over time. When those capital ships started firing, they would see just how strong those shields were.....
Kalen's visor warned him of an incoming message. "Receive message."
An image of the Sith Officer appeared. "All ships, open fire on alien vessel. Use evasive tactics; their strength is an unknown factor. J-squadron mercenaries, do the same. Destroy the alien vessel."
"Well, we've got our orders. Lets hope we live to regret coming out here." Now speaking into his comlink he addressed the mercenaries. "J-squadron. Open fire on alien vessel. Evasive manuevering. Don't bother with formations. We're mercs. We work best alone." "Yes sir! Let's get this party started!"
Following his own advice, Kalen laid on the thrusters. He reached for the gun controls, and fired off a series of three shots. Unsurpisingly, they bounced off the alien's shields.
"Let's see... we've got to find out where this thing's shields are weakest...."
Kalen flipped his ship back and went for another pass at the alien. It wasn't firing back yet. What kind of ship would have shields like that and yet no weapons? Wait... there it was. A single golden projectile, weaving it's way towards the Sith Cruiser at blinding speeds. It hit in an explosion that pulverised nearly a quarter of the ship. "J-leader, this is J-4. I'm picking up large energy reading from the Sith Cruiser." "They must be preparing to ram the alien vessel. J-squadron! Draw back from the alien ship!"
The mercenaries pulled back, watching carefully for more of those golden missiles. Suddenly, the power readings on the Sith Cruiser died down.
"What? Did their ship shut down? I didn't see anyone fire an ion cannon!"
"No, look behind the cruiser! It's reinforcements! An entire fleet of Capital ships! Things are finally starting to look up!"
"J-squadron! Resume attack on the alien intruder!"

((Their technology is not as powerful as it sounds in the post. XD They are just extremely incredibly omfg way to overconfident in their tech. XDXD So no worries. ^_^)) “Commander.” The captain of the Domain warship spoke softly. “It would appear that they wish for battle. Sad as this may be we have no choice to fight back. Activate the weapons array and prepare for battle.” He then placed his hand on the right arm of the chair he was sitting in as he then spoke loudly. “This is Chancellor Feralkis, captain of the Aurora class warship Tria. I’m sadden to report that we have been forced into battle. The unknown fleet would not back down from the supergate. We’re going to try and drive them off with conventional weapons before we rely on drones… Though…from the size of the fleet they have brought we may have no choice. Feralkis out.”
With those orders the warship opened fire on the cruiser it first shot at. Its shots hit moderately hard and each of the 18 guns facing the fleet were firing around once a second. Large blobs of golden energy raced through space slamming the shields of the cruiser. “Captain, the cruisers shields are about to fail.” One of the crew women turned and said to the captain. He thought for a moment and replied. “Cease fire. I think they get the picture. If they continue to fire open up on them and don’t hold back. I’m heading to the chair room.” With the mention of the chair they entire crew turned to him. “Captain….you…you can’t fire that weapon on them… You know what it will do. They wouldn’t stand a chance against it.” Spoke the one of the other members on the bridge. Another moved to him and grabbed his shoulder. “Think about what you propose to do. Judging by the weapons they fire at us they cannot be any larger a threat than that of the Wraith…We can take them long enough to drive them off. Please do not use that weapon.” Hippa stopped as he waved his hand by a set of three glowing crystals next to the door and stared into the hall as it opened. “Based on their response they are like the Wraith… They’ll keep coming no matter what… If it takes the chair to drive them off so be it. Besides… I’m giving them one last chance to leave. If they have not at least stopped firing then I’ll have no choice but to use the ships full power against them…” Hippa shrugged off the commanders hand and proceeded down the hall and to the chair room. He opened the door and stared in. The large round room was about 20 ft across and the walls were rather bare. His eyes fell upon the chair as he took a deep breath. He walked forward and sat down, parts of the chair lit up a bright blue color. The chair leaned back, a foot rest moved from the bottom and held his feet up. The room darkened as he shut his eyes. The battle field lit up in his mind as the chair rotated slowly clockwise. He could see every ship at once, and feel the stats of their shields and armor as if it was himself. He could feel the life forms aboard all of the ships as if they were his own….With a single thought he targeted all of ships as he could feel pins and needles from where his ship was being fired upon. He could only hope they would stop firing.

"We've arrived at the designated location. You can WAKE UP NOW JACE" Z shouted through the computer system
"Five more minutes..." Jace mumbled still asleep. "Its not like theirs a Sith Armada here or anything"
"You wanna put some money on that?" Z responded "Wake up and take a look"
Jace roused himself from his slumber and checked his radar. Contacts flooded the device, clearly in heated combat. "What the...? When did this all get here?" Jace asked, clearly not expecting the scene. "Any particular reason you DIDN"T TELL ME ABOUT THIS WAR GOING ON?"
"I didn't want to wake up the princess" Z replied innocently
"I am so getting you a new operating system when we get home" Jace mumbled "Alright give me a sit rep. What the heck is going on?"
"Well thats issue here, I have no idea" Z said. "One group is, with out a doubt, Sith but the other ships are completely foreign to..." Suddenly, a golden light flashed and a Sith capital ship went down.
That kind of firepower is way to strong for any organization I know of Jace thought, "Recommendations Z?"
"I suggest we flee away from the combat zone" Z said "Our rinky dink Strikefighter is no match for projectiles that swat capital ships like flies"
"Alright then, Take me to the center of the combat zone" Jace said
"Figures you would do something stupid like this" Z sighed
"Ah shut it, we'll be fine"
"Coming from the guy you can't fly a ship to save his life" Z mumbled as the droid activated the thrusters. "I swear if I get shot..."
"If you get shot it's your own dang fault for being such a cruddy pilot. Now, lets go!"

Zyre frowned as the golden light took down the dreadnaught to her left. The weapons these aliens really were something she'd never seen before, and they seemed to be doing a decent amount of damage to their ships, cutting through the shields with as much ease as some of the sith's strongest cannons. Even still, there was no need for too much concern. She knew how to control the fleet just right, and she'd purposefully been holding back to see how the enemy would attack. It seemed a basic enough attack system, with fairly clear exit points of their attacks, meaning that if they simply focused on those points with enough fire power they'd be able to disable the enemy and interrogate the crew. She inhaled and opened up the link to the ship captains once more.
"Fire up the Turbolasers and Turbolaser cannons. Blues, aim for the exit points of their golden shots, greens aim for the main hull of the ship. Reds standby, wait for my call to deploy mini fighters. Yellows, standby to clean up the mess." She smiled at her own joke; there was no yellow crew, and with that many sith ships attacking at once there wouldn't be much left to clean up, unless the enemy shields were much stronger than she anticipated.
She looked over at Thanaton after issuing the orders, looking for confirmation to move forward with her plan. Of course he'd agree, he always let her run the fleet, but sometimes he could point out things she couldn't see, and he always technically was in charge. He nodded once, and then whispered "I sense... Fear... And... Sorrow? From some of their ship, but... Confidence... From most. I don't understand, perhaps a few understand they're about to die?"
Zyre frowned to herself, trying to think if that was possible. No, she'd intentionally kept the fleet looking nearly harmless... But she didn't have time to puzzle it out, the ships were beginning to power up their cannons and she had to focus.

Kalen pulled his ship sharply to the right, dodging a hail of turbolaser bolts that seemed to appear from nowhere. He looked to his left.
"Yes! The Sith are finally attacking! J-squadron, keep your eyes on the lasers, we wouldn't want to get hit by our own ships after they came out here to save us!"
"Yes sir!"
Kalen smiled. They still just might make it.
He dived straight into the energy storm, seemingly ignoring his own advice. He knew his ship better than that, though, and he knew it wouldn't let him down now. He concentrated on the screens less than one might expect, instead feeling where the bolts were coming from, and using them to hide his ship. He increased his speed, streaking towards the alien ship, waiting for the right moment. He had located a spot on the vessel that looked like some kind of command center, and he homed in on it, coming ever closer. All at once, he rerouted almost all of the power from the engines to his weapons, and fired one single cannon at maximum power. He fired again and again, and the laser bolts formed an almost lightsaber-esque stream of pure energy that struck the enemy ship exactly where he had planned, blasting massive amounts of power against a single point the size of a credit chip. The alien's shields kicked in, deflecting the laser beam, but the concentration of energy needed to block Kalen's single laser beam caused the shields on the rest of the ship to weaken slightly, making the Sith fleet's barrage that much more effective. Just as his ship was drawing too close to the alien ship, he cut off the laser and pulled his ship out of its suicidal charge.
"Ha! I haven't done that in a long time! Let's do it again!" And Kalen flipped his ship around again, coming in for yet another attack.
Yes, they still might make it out of this alive.

Seeing the rest of the enemy fleet powering their weapons Hippa frowned and slumped in the chair. He forced himself to muster up a feeling of rage that sparked every drone within the warship to life. A deafening, high pitched growl sang throughout the ship as the weapon activated. The crew on the bridge looked out to see a blinding golden ray of light pour forth from the forward section of the ship as the drone bay doors opened. The growl greatly dropped in pitch as the drones began to leave the ship. First only a few came out, thirty or so but then they came in their full force. Thousands of them streaming out of the hull of the warship like a golden river of light that flowed through space with the beauty and furry of a solar prominence. For more than five minutes the weapon continued to fire. More than 6000 of the drones screamed through space targeting the nearest ship. The front of the stream dipped down below the enemy vessel, they quickly veered upwards and split into three parts that slammed into the bottom of the large ship moving into the ship a good ways before detonating. Hundreds of explosions blew out of the ship and into space as dozens of streams of drones exited the ship and moved on to others in the fleet. The now miniscule streams only targeted cruiser class ships and detonated upon impact ripping the ships to pieces. Several of the drones broke off and targeted the small fighter that had shot at them prior with the beam type weapon. Though, the three that chased after the fighter seemed to act differently. They did not chase after it with the same furiousness as they did thee other ships. The warship activated it’s star drives and began to move slowly away seeing that they shot with all they had and only brought down several cruisers and one of the larger vessels.

Kalen brought his StarSaber around for yet another run at the alien ship, when suddenly thousands of golden projectiles started streaming from the ship. He pulled his ship sharply to the left, narrowly avoiding the oncoming flood of death. "J-squadron, watch out for these things. I'm not sure what they do, but they look dangerous."
Kalen brought his attention back to the screen, just in time to see several blips approaching rapidly from the rear. "What? Let's see if I can get visuals on that…"
He flipped his ship around, and immediately saw several of those golden objects bearing down on him. "Hmm.. Thought so."
Kalen took his ship into a spin and executed a rapid series of evasive maneuvers, trying to determine whether or not the objects would follow him. He picked up his comlink. "Sith fleet, this is J-Leader. It appears that the golden light is comprised of individual homing projectiles. From the ones that have already struck you I would venture to say that they have a primitive AI that allows them to choose whether or not to detonate. I have yet to see if they can be shot down."
"Thank you J-Leader. Use your squadron to determine if they can be destroyed with conventional lasers."
"Yes sir."
Kalen set down the comlink again. "J-Squadron, you have a new objective; shoot down the golden projectiles."
"Will do, sir."
Kalen flipped his ship around yet again. While fast, these projectiles were no match for his modified StarSaber. "Let's see how they stand up against a laser barrage…"
He picked out one of the projectiles that had been following him and fired his ships laser cannons at full power. Nothing seemed to happen for a couple seconds, and then it exploded, sending a shockwave rushing out towards his ship that he was only barely able to avoid. "Watch out J-squadron, these guys make a big boom when they pop."
A short time later, after tracking down projectile after projectile, and evading explosion after explosion, the battlefield appeared much different. The golden projectiles had been reasonably thinned out, both due to the mercenaries efforts as well as the turbolasers from the Sith Fleet, but several Sith ships had fallen as well. At this rate, though, the aliens didn't stand a chance, unless they had another trick up their sleeves. "Ha! Look at them! They can tell they don't stand a chance against us! They're backing away; maybe even retreating! J-Squadron; lets clean up the rest of these buggers and then show them that you don't mess with us!"
